Request Account Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your Pulse account and all associated personal data at any time. Once processed, this action is permanent and cannot be undone. Below are the steps to submit a deletion request and details on what data is removed or retained.

Prefer to keep your account? You can selectively delete specific data types (posts, messages, events, portfolio, etc.) without deleting your account entirely.

How to Request Deletion

    Log in to your Pulse account

    Open the Pulse app or visit the login page and sign in with your email and password.

    Navigate to your Profile

    Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.

    Tap "Request Account Deletion"

    Scroll to the link list on your profile and tap the red "Request Account Deletion" entry.

    Confirm the deletion

    A confirmation dialog will appear. Review the warning, then tap "Delete Account" to permanently erase your data. You will be logged out automatically.

    Alternative: Email us

    If you cannot access your account, email support@pulseboise.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your Pulse account. We will process your request within 30 days.

Data That Is Deleted

The following data is permanently erased immediately upon deletion:

  • Profile information (display name, bio, avatar, role, genres, social links)
  • All posts and shared content (text, images, videos)
  • All comments on posts
  • All likes on posts
  • All events you created
  • All collaboration posts you created
  • Your Electronic Press Kit (EPK)
  • All portfolio items (music, photos, videos, artwork)
  • All endorsements you gave or received
  • Event check-ins and RSVP history
  • Subscription and billing records
  • All direct and group messages you authored
  • Conversation threads you created
  • Blocked user and hidden post preferences
  • Reports you submitted

Data That May Be Retained

  • Auth account record — Your login credential (email) is managed by the Base44 platform and may be retained for up to 30 days for security and audit purposes before full removal.
  • Messages received by others — Messages you sent in threads you did not create may remain visible to other participants until those threads are deleted by their owners.
  • Anonymized analytics — Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics are retained indefinitely for product improvement.
  • Legal records — Records required by law (e.g., payment transaction records) may be retained for up to 7 years as required by financial regulations.
